will audio on my web site slow it down?

Nope. When you open a web site, the behind-the-scenes code locates all of the elements on the page and loads them into your computer screen. Many of these items come from different locations. When the code identifies that you have a VERBAL SITES audio message to load, it will locate and load that audio from the VERBAL SITES servers. All of the other elements load from other servers, and load as they are instructed by the code. Once all of your visual elements are loaded, the audio will begin to load and automatically begin to play once completely loaded.
